From the Community Survey Thoughts on Business What do you like most about living in Woolwich Township? - close to where we work and volunteer - the work ethic - the great variety of food, especially farmers' products What do you like least about living in Woolwich? - Shopping - I try to shop here and goods aren't always available - No selection in small town living - Not enough variey stores Local Shopping in Woolwich Percentage of residents reporting that most of their shopping is done in Woolwich How Many Shop Locally? According to the survey, 60% of Woolwich residents do most of their food shopping in the Township; 70% do most of their pharmacy shopping within the Township; 65% do their hardware and produce purchasing locally. On the other hand, 75% of local residents buy most of their clothing outside of Woolwich. In the survey, many people said that they wished that they could locally purchase more clothing -- particularly women’s clothing.
